Paula
Billig, Owner and IM=X Trainer

With
10 years experience with an interactive theater troupe and a
degree from Temple University in Human Biology, Paula understands
the importance of appreciating how your body is working while
still enjoying an entertaining, tough workout. She has earned
the Super Advanced Xercizer Certification, and is undergoing
IM=X Mat Training to expand the offerings at IM=X Pilates Blue
Bell.

Jim
Gutekunst, Owner and IM=X Trainer

Jim brings a diverse background
to the IM=X Blue Bell Team. He spent 6 years in the military
and incorporates his boot camp and physical training experience,
though not necessarily a drill sergeant demeanor. He is also
a third-generation musician in a performing marching band. At
a young age he was an award-winning dancer; he has played soccer,
hockey, and volleyball; and he continues to run, bicycle and
personally train on the Xercizer machine.
Beth
Thune, IM=X Trainer
Beth has been an avid exerciser for most
of her life. She was a dance student as a child and an athlete
throughout her school years. After teaching elementary school
in the New York City school system, she retired to take care
of her son. When she moved to Blue Bell, Beth decided to begin
a new career in fitness, becoming a certified Mat Pilates instructor
over 3 years ago. After taking classes at IM=X Blue Bell, she
absolutely loved the way her body felt using the Xercizer. She
decided to get her IM=X certification, and completed the Basic
Xercizer training in September 2007. She's been working with
IM=X clients ever since! She loves how this exercise helps clients
increase their strength, balance and flexiblility, and allows
them to achieve a level of fitness like no other has done for
them in the past. When not in the studio, she likes to run,
do strength training, volunteer at her son's school, and spend
time with her husband Michael and son, Alex.
Kate
Dufresne, IM=X Trainer

Courtney
Copper, IM=X Trainer
Courtney graduated magna cum laude from
West Chester University, receiving a degree in Education/Dance.
After graduating, she took off for New York City and spend the
past 10 years traveling the world as a professional dancer.
Courtney performed on the great stage of Radio City Music Hall
as a Rockette. She also toured the United States with the National
Broadway Tour of "Annie Get Your Gun", and sailed
many oceans as a dance captain for Royal Caribbean, Regent and
Holland Americal cruise lines. Over the past 5 years, she has
found a passion for Pilates and yoga.
Courney is a teacher and choreographer for ballet, tap, jazz,
lyrical, musical theater and hip hop at local dance studios.
She completed her IM=X Pilates certification in NYC and plans
to continue her studies with the IM=X certification programs.
Courtney enjoys working with people to help achieve their goals
and strongly feel that IM=X Pilates is a wonderful way to get
and stay in good physical condition while also preventing injuries.
She has worked with all ages from babies to seniors, and feels
that exercise is important for everyone's health and well-being.

IM=X
Pilates founder, Elyse McNergney,
studied and was certified by Romana Kryzanowska at The Pilates
Studio in NYC before obtaining a certification in the Alexander
Technique and two Masters Degrees (M.A. in Movement Science
and an M.Ed. in Exercise Physiology at Columbia University).
Impressed with the versatility and overall benefits of Pilates-style
training, Elyse and her team of Exercise Physiologists created
the IM=X Pilates program to reflect the changes and research
of today's fitness and rehabilitation markets.
